Poppies & Olives : Fundraising for MECA
From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free.
A rendering of Palestine’s beloved & iconic poppies & olives, framed in a nod to the iconic keffiyeh pattern. A love letter to a land rich in native culture…a land & people under colonial siege & in danger of erasure. Palestine & the SWANA region at large are not innately warzones, & they were not up for grabs - this is fertile land, tended by vibrant, ancient people. And they will be free.
$10 from every print sold is donated to MECA : Middle East Children’s Alliance.
8.5×11” coral/salmon & black print of original artwork by Kita (that’s me!) printed on textured watercolor paper & packed in my very own studio in a biodegradable cellulose sleeve.
