The High Priestess

$30.00

The Hight Priestess: child of light shadow.

My iteration of the third card in the Major Arcana sets The High Priestess in a moonlit field of mugwort plants which guide her as she follows the watery path of her subconscious - strewn with chamomile, steeping to provide ease & calm, & pomegranates, the breadcrumbs she will follow to reemerge once her work is done.

She is the child of two Mothers: Corporeal Earth & Etheric Moon - honoring each with a salute of her hands - As Above So Below. As Within So Without. a conspiratorial handshake between our Shadow Self & Facade. The High Priestess asks us to look & listen to our innate wisdom, our instinctual & ancestral knowledge. She walks through the reflective waters of introspection to reach the parts of her most never get to see, the dark side of her moon. The High Priestess is ready to exercise her self determination, to write her own next chapter following the outline written deep in her. She knows the answers are within, & may choose to work in dreamscapes & astral realms to receive them. One foot on the ground, one in the lunar shadows - unveiling that which is hidden within her - this is the work The High Priestess asks of us.

9x12” print of original artwork by Kita (that’s me!) printed & packed in my very own studio in a biodegradable cellulose sleeve. Story card included.
